Information
The Glazer applies a controlled, thin layer of water to vegetables immediately after the freezing tunnel to help prevent breakage and preserve structural integrity during downstream handling. This glazing process is particularly effective for products such as broccoli.
Transported via belt, IQF produce is immersed in a water pool, while a dual‑angle decelerating siphon delivers gentle water curtains. The amount of glazing can be precisely controlled, allowing operation with the pool only, one or two water curtains, a combination of both, or no water at all, functioning as a standard conveyor when glazing is not required.
